Coastal Pilates Co. – Palm Coast Location

Coastal Pilates Co. is committed to transparency and excellent service. In accordance with Florida State Law, including the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (F.S. Chapter 501, Part II), we provide the following refund policy to ensure clarity regarding your rights and obligations.

1. Classes and Memberships

  • All group class purchases, class packages, and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • Class cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance to avoid forfeiture. Late cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.

  • Monthly memberships automatically renew and may be canceled with written notice at least 30 days prior to the next billing date.

2. Private and Semi-Private Sessions

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full credit. Missed appointments or late cancellations will result in the full session fee being charged.

  • Refunds are not guaranteed but may be issued at the discretion of Coastal Pilates Co. in cases of verified medical emergencies or similar extenuating circumstances.

3. Retail Products

  • Retail merchandise may be returned within 7 days of purchase if unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt.

  • Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment. Sale items, discounted goods, and final clearance products are not eligible for return or exchange.

4. Workshops, Teacher Training, and Special Events

  • Payments for workshops, teacher trainings, and special events are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by Coastal Pilates Co.

  • Transfers to another participant are permitted if requested in writing at least 48 hours before the event start time.

  • For programs valued over $500, a cancellation policy and payment schedule will be clearly outlined in the event registration materials in accordance with Florida’s contract and business practices laws.

5. Right to Cancel Under Florida Law

Under Florida law, certain transactions may include a 3-day cancellation period (cooling-off period) for specific types of contracts executed outside of a traditional place of business. This policy does not typically apply to purchases made at our physical studio location or through our website unless otherwise stated in the contract.

6. Force Majeure

Coastal Pilates Co. is not liable for cancellations, delays, or service disruptions due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, or governmental orders. In such cases, refunds or credits may be issued at our discretion.

7. Policy Changes

This policy is subject to change at any time, without prior notice, in compliance with Florida law. Updated policies will be posted on our website and available in-studio.
